Business Development Manager

Your mission

Identify and develop new business opportunities
Drive the growth of the AVEGA’s client base by leveraging your existing network in Luxembourg, Europe and internationally
Represent the company and its service offerings to prospective clients, with a focus on both regulated and unregulated structures
Promote the AVEGA’s capabilities across asset classes including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and other alternative investments
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless handover to the client teams
Attend industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with key stakeholders
Collaborate closely with internal teams (legal, compliance, accounting) to ensure client needs are met effectively
Report on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends to senior management

Your profile

Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the financial services industry in Luxembourg.
Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund and company structures, both regulated (e.g., RAIF, SIF, SICAR) and unregulated vehicles (e.g., SCSPs, SPVs)
Solid knowledge of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, credit and other alternative asset classes
Demonstrated track record of sourcing and winning new business, particularly with institutional and professional clients
Established network within the Luxembourg financial services ecosystem
Fluent in German and English is mandatory
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach
