Your mission
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to enhance and develop our Compliance Department. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, conduct client due diligence, and maintain high standards of compliance across all operational levels. 
  • Enhance and further develop the Compliance Department to meet evolving regulatory and operational needs.
  • Conduct due diligence procedures for new clients, including requesting, reviewing, and verifying Know Your Customer (KYC) information and documentation.
  • Perform detailed analytical risk assessments for new clients and periodically evaluate existing clients based on established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to obtain required KYC documents, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Assist in the initial drafting of policies and procedures, and regularly perform critical reviews of existing documents to ensure they meet the latest compliance requirements.
  • Maintain continuous contact with clients and/or client-facing teams to ensure that all customer files are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and implement regulatory changes, ensuring new requirements are incorporated into company policies and processes.
Your profile
  • Experience: Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar compliance function or audit role in the financial sector, ideally in Luxembourg.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) frameworks, including monitoring and screening processes.
  • Client Service: Demonstrate a high degree of client and service orientation with the ability to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Proactive: Ability to take initiative and responsibility to drive compliance projects and improvements independently.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • Problem-Solving: Solution-oriented with the ability to address and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in German is considered an asset.
  • Self-Management: Ability to work independently, organized, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Learning & Growth: Eagerness to continuously learn and adapt to new regulations and compliance standards.
